Sonja Holley was born and raised in Shattuck, Oklahoma. Her husband, Randy Holley, was also employed by Shattuck Public Schools for many years.  Both are former graduates of Shattuck High School.

Mrs. Holley's  career  began in Crescent, Oklahoma, where she taught Kindergarten, third grade, and sixth grade. After four years at Crescent, the Holleys had the opportunity to return closer to home; taking a job at Arnett Public Schools.

Seven years later, the couple moved back to their hometown, to teach in the school system that they enjoyed as children. Their  three children, Blake, Brooke, and Chase also attended Shattuck School throughout their school careers.

Mrs. Holley has been teaching PreK and Kindergarten at Shattuck since 1997.
