Mrs. Holt in Top 3 Running for Principal of the Year!

Recently, at Shattuck Elementary School, Mrs. Holt was nominated for Principal of the Year by the Oklahoma Association of Elementary School Principals from the Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administration. Mrs. Holt was selected as one of the top three elementary principals in the state of Oklahoma, which led to a special visit from a selection committee to our elementary school. During the visit, several students were chosen to give tours of the building, showcasing classrooms and highlighting student accomplishments. Community members, an educational leadership team, and Mrs. Holt also participated in interviews with the OAESP Committee, sharing what makes Shattuck Elementary such a special place.

Mrs. Holt shared, “We had a great time showcasing the people and culture of Shattuck Schools. It was truly an honor to highlight our amazing teachers and students in action —we have so much talent to celebrate and be proud of.”

Congratulations to Mrs. Holt and the students! Good luck!

Senior Spotlight!

Sam Contreras

Hello my name is Samuel Contreras. I am a graduating in 2026. Honestly never thought I would make it this far, but here we are. I liked my time here at Shattuck Public schools. It was fun. I met a lot of good people here. From the teachers, to the staff, to the few friends I love, I liked my time here. Even though I wish I had spoken more and made more friends, I'm happy for the ones I did make.

I am hoping to go to college this or next year. I plan to attend Francis Tuttle to get a degree in software engineering. I had two lovely rabbits as pets for a while, Coco and Cashew. And finally, I love my family. The ones who have always been with me. Aden, Kristy and Tony I truly appreciate the love and support you've always given me. They are the nicest family I could've asked for. And with that I thank you for reading. I am definitely gonna miss this place.
