About Me

Education

Educational History:

I graduated from Follett High School in Follett, Texas in 1992.  After high school, I attended Oklahoma State University and graduated with my BS in 1996.

Degrees and Certifications:

I have a BS in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Social Studies.

Current Position:

I have been teaching here at Shattuck since 2014.  I have taught many subjects, while at Shattuck, including 8th grade History and 7th grade Science,Computer and Math.  However, teaching 5th graders has been a constant position for me while here at Shattuck.

Previous Position:

I began teaching in Booker, Texas in 1997.  While at Booker, I taught ESL (English as a Second Language) and 5th grade.  After being at Booker for four years, I moved back to Follett and taught 4th grade for 13 years. 

Family Information:

My husband Derek and I have been married since 1995.  We live just south of the Slapout, Oklahoma area.  Derek and I have two children, Hagan and Payton.  We enjoy being a part of the Shattuck school system and community.

Personal Information:

When I'm not at school, I enjoy attending OSU football and basketball games, reading, sewing and traveling to stock shows with my family.
